Night waking and crying..can't console lo
« on: June 21, 2006, 16:28:55 pm »
Hi

I have a 6 month old who just started waking up up about 1.5 hours after she falls asleep for the night. For example she goes to bed at 7 and usually sleeps till 630 am with a DF at 11, now she goes to sleep still at 7, but wakes up at 830 and cries hysterically for about 2 hours, then falls asleep and wakes up at 630.
We are not sure why this is happening, she does not have a fever and we have tried to feed her and she is not hungry. Nothing in her diet or schedule has changed. I was thinking that this could be the start of separation anxiety, but she still cries when we are in the room. There is nothing that we can do to console her. Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can console or even why this is happening.

Thanks
