When does awake time become one hour or more?
« on: June 24, 2006, 15:37:54 pm »
Just curious so I know when to start looking at extending awake time.  Right now, basically he eats, gets a diaper change and is asleep again....he's going to be 5 weeks on Tuesday.  Is there an age (6 weeks, 8 weeks, etc.) that he can handle 1.5 hour awake time???

I think with every baby it differs as far as WHEN it happens..but it will increase gradually. The main thing is to read the cues, and if your LO appears tired...then its time for bed. At this age......all they do is eat and sleep..My LO was 3 months old when he went 1.5  for A time.
