2 month sleep schedule?
« on: June 25, 2006, 21:36:24 pm »
hi
i was wondering if you wouldn't mind telling me what your sleep and awake times are for your 2month old (or around 2 month old).  i guess give me a run-down of your typical day.  i know early on it is hard to have some sort of schedule, but i'd like to establish one as soon as possible, especially having a 2 year old running around it's nice to know what should be next in the day.
thank you!!!

Hi Carolyn,

Just wanted to let you know our kids are very similar ages...I have a 2 year old daughter (4/16/04 Carmela) and a 5 week old son (5/23/06 Joey also)...

How are you coping with two?  How do you find yourself sleep training Joey with your 2 year old around?  Any tips to help me?  I'm having an awful time with naps......

Hi, Carolyn! My little one is 8 weeks as well. Her schedule is not the greatest right now. We are working on it, though! Check out this link: https://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?topic=10384.0
It has some sample schedules. It has helped me! Good luck!  ;D

Hi Carolyn - just to say have a look on the easy boards.  Other moms post their routines on there and it's a great way of comparing what you do with everyone else - it gives you some great ideas too.

thanks for the links ladies, i will check those out.

carmela's mom-we will have to keep in touch since our little ones are so close in age. :)  i haven't done any type of sleep training yet..it is so hard just for joey to get a little nap let alone sleep training.  i will keep you posted if i come up with any ideas...you do the same.  how do you handle putting the 2 of them to bed at night?

I have to say I am blessed this go around with a sleeper YAY!!!!!  Carmela was an awful sleeper (and still is)...but Joey is already doing 7 hours at night and napping well to boot.  It's been nice.

Right now Joey doesn't go to bed until after his 10:30 feeding.  Carmela is in bed by 8:00 so right now we have no issues, but I'm looking for advice because as Joey goes longet between feeds, I'll be putting him in earlier as well.
