Yes, you can freeze:

From Super Baby Food:

Mashed potatoes will keep well-wrapped in the freezer for up to 10 months.  Freeze whole baked potatoes for up to 3 months; thaw in refrigerator overnight, wrap in foil and bake at 350 for 30 min.  Bake frozen unthawed whole potatoes at 350 for 45 min.  Remove foil for last 10 min of baking.

Hi,

My experience is that mashed potatoe does not freeze well.  It came out all powdery and neither me or my baby (9.5 Mo) liked it.  So now she only gets mash when we have it or a day later from the fridge.  Cheesy mash with a tomatoey sause os one of her favourite meals!

I have also found that white potatoes don't freeze all that well, unless you have them airtight. Hard to do! Sweet potatoes on the other hand are fine. Go figure.
