I found colief and infacol to be great.. and you can use both for your LO at the same time as they do totally different jobs.
I am guessing that you are expressing milk and using the colief in the milk and leaving it to work for a while... I may be wrong as I formula fed my DS and had to put colief into the milk and leave it for 4 hours before use. The colief breaks down the lactose in the milk into sugars that your LOs body can digest easily so excess wind is not created as their system struggles to digest it. USe of colief made a huge impact to Williams colic. I hope that you will be getting it from the Dr on prescription for free instead of paying £10 a bottle in boots like I did for a while before I mentioned it at the Drs!
Infacol is brilliant too. William loved it. Its job is to help a LO pass the wind from inside out more easily as it helps all of the little air bubbles to join to make one big one so its burped up more easily. Its use is cumulative so its best used before every feed and it gets better and better as time passes. It was really effective for William and made a great difference to winding him easily and getting rid of trapped gas.
As I said I used both of these together and they made a massive difference to William.. along with Dr Browns anti colic bottles they were a godsend!
