I wasn't sure where to post this, so I thought I'd try here.

How long can your lo under 3 months be awake?  Dd is almost 6 weeks and I can barely keep her up 1 hour including feed time.  Sometimes she doesn't make it an hour.  I have a ds who is 2, he was a nightmare, either crying or eating for 3 months, so I don't have anything really to compare her to.  When do they start having a longer awake time?  I remembe about 3 months he was up for about 1.5 hours before naptime.  I read somewhere 2 hours at 6 weeks...no way my lo can do that.  Thanks.

An hour sounds about right for 6 weeks.  For us, at 4 months my dd2 could only handle 1.5 hours and closer to 6 months finally got to 2 hours.  Now, at almost 10 months, we are still around 2.5 hrs for her first A time (and that increases throughout the day).
