Hiya I have resized the picture for you so you can use it as an avatar - which is the pic that comes up below your name..

You can save it to your computer by clicking on the name just below the pic and then use the folowing instructions to help you add it as an avatar..

If you go towards the top of the page you will see a button marked profile.. press that...

Then you need to look to the left and in the second box down (the modify profile box).. select " forum profile information"

Then you select - "I will upload my own picture" .. then press browse and select which picture you want as  your avatar from your computer.

Once you have found it and added it scroll to the bottom and press the change profile button.

i still don't understand how to make the kb on a picture smaller or the height/width smaller.  also, how do some people have a picture show?  thanks.

Hiya

To decrease the kb or the dimensions of a picture you need software that can do it.. I use paint shop pro 8 or the software that came with my camera. There is also a post in the photo galery about photo resizers that you can download from the internet to use.

Regarding the changing avatars - like picture shows.. there is a post, again in the photo gallery giving instructions. Again you need specific software to make one. Alternatively get in touch with Gareth and he might have time to make you one (he made mine for me lol)
