This is so funny :D I just take weetabix for granted because I was brought up on it ::), I'm glad you can now enjoy the yummy goodness.

It was 3.49 at Super Target! Not near as $$ as I thought it would be. Tyler and I had some for lunch...yum!

Gosh I must be one of the very few who cannot stand weetabix, well I know I couldn't when I was a kid and I certainly don't like the look of it now and have no intention of tasting it. Dd has it every morning though, took me a good few tries to introduce it, when we were on hols and she went off all and I do mean all food for 2.5 weeks she had it morning and night  ::)

Weetabix is Soo Yummy!   ;D ;D

Stacy: I can't stand Shredded wheat either but love Weetabix - it's a completely different texture and taste (and so versatile)

I can't wait until Luke is old enough to try it...although that does mean I'll have to share... :(

I think Shredded wheat is YUCK... but weetbix (as they are known in OZ)...well I eat 3 for breakfast most days

& today both boys were standing at the counter on the toddler chairs (14mo copying big brother... Aiden (doing his "job") putting out everyones in their bowls & Liam was taking them out to eat them dry... he ate 1 whole one & then nibbled on others  ;) & then had one with milk & yogurt & fruit (actually more than one as he eats from my bowl too)... we go through 1kg box/week as some days Aiden will eat them as a snack (dry)

As kids we used to eat them with butter spread on them... I became a master at splitting them to put butter in the middle ;)

Yes, but that is what a broom is for & actually at age (almost) 3 he is pretty good at sweeping up after himself... Now Liam that is a mess... but once again, I just sweep it up... I have long learnt to live with mess/sweeping up all the time ;)

I warmed up a little milk in a bowl and then broke up 2 pieces into the milk.  That's it!!!

Stacy if it doesn't take your fancy as a cereal, you can make great apple crumble with it ;D... just break it all up, mix it with melted butter & brown sugar & then heat it up in the oven or microwave... I can't give quantities as I'm the "about that amount type of cook" ;)

I must admit I sprinkle sugar on mine and have with ice cold milk!  ;D

I won't put sugar on Luke's though - can't having him getting mummy's bad eating habits....
