New here! How to get my 4mo to EASY.. she does ESAS

Hello - we have been trying EASY since my daughter was around 8 weeks... she was 5-6 weeks early, and we were on a 2 hour eating schedule until she was 3 months old.

Now that we're on  3 hours, I've really tried to stick to EASY -- but she wants to do ESAS.  She'll only "cat nap" for about 20 minutes, and falls asleep while feeding.  Then she'll wake up to play for about an hour and go back down for another cat nap?

I really need some practical tips here!

Here's a sample... :-)

E 8am
A play and 'talk'  8:30
S 9:15 nap -- her best & longest nap of the day

E 11
S 11:30  falls asleep for about 25 minutes towards the end of feeding
A 12 wakes up happy and plays for 45+minutes
S 1 shows sleepy signs and sleeps for 30 minutes
A we play til eating time

I had that same problem when I started EASY.  I started changing his diaper every time I fed him (even if he didn't need it).  The cold wipes on his bottom woke him up    After a while he started getting use to being awake after a feeding and the full tummy didn't have such a tiring effect.
