Swaddle and Roll
« on: July 18, 2006, 13:03:30 pm »
Good afternoon all,

My DD is now 4months and 3 weeks. I have been swaddling her since she was around 5 weeks old. Unfortunatley she will not sleep (even in this heat) unless she is swaddled. The problem I have is that 2 weeks ago she master the act of rolling on to her front which she is now doing in her sleep however she is getting in to a panic as her arms are not free. She doesn't wake up but I do have to get up to her to sort her out. This usually starts around 4am until she finally does wake up at 6am.

Does anyne have any suggestions as to what I can do? ???

Sorry I can't help you.  I couldn't swaddle dd coz she had a dislocated hip & had to wear a brace thing until 12wks.

I'm sure all the other girls can help.  Anyway I just wanted to say you've got a really cute lo there.

You can put rolled up towels or blankets on either side of her to keep her from rolling.
