Starting 4.5 mo on "formal" EASY - need help
« on: July 19, 2006, 21:58:54 pm »

We have had our son on a flexible EASY since birth and started on the formal 4/4 routine yesterday.  I need some help and advice.  In the book it talks about "clock-watching" as we set the routine, but I find my son still waking from naps after 45 minutes and my attempts at PU/PD do not work to settle him.  I have not tried the wake to sleep yet and will try that tomorrow.  Do I need to make sure I follow the routine to the times or should I follow my son's cues when he is tired?

EASY is all about following your LO's cues, however setting them on a routine by feeding (in your case) every 4hours.

You will find loads more information here --> https://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?topic=62100.0  along with sleep links, if you fnid the naps are problematic, please post on the relevant sleep board and the ladies there will give you some great advise.
