Wide awake for 2am feed. Any advice

Don't have too many sleep problems with my 5 week old ds #2 I'm sure it's thanks to starting EASY early on this time.  However he does have reflux and whilst he settles well for naps after the 2am feed it takes him a while to settle.  however he is sometimes wide awake at this feed and then it takes him even longer to settle.  We are doing it in the dark etc.  His bed time is 7pm he has a dreamfeed 11ish and then wakes between 2 and 3am.  Between these times he sleeps well.  do you think a later bedtime would help him to be sleepier at this feed?

I don't think a later bedtime will help.  Is he medicated for the reflux?  Does he seem gassy after his night feed?

Have you tried waking him at about 1:45 for the feed just before he wakes up?  Might be worth a shot.

Yeah, my sister said that worked for her when she had the same problem.  I am having a similar problem right now and it did not work for me   Still worth a shot though - good luck!
