My daughter has never been a real big eater and it has been difficult since the beginning to get her to drink her formula. She is averaging about 18-22oz of formula a day right now plus 2 or 3 solid meals. My question is could someone look at her routine and tell me what I should do about her bottle feedings?
She usually doesn't take much formula during the day.
6am-wake bottle - usually 4-5oz (sometimes only 3oz)
8:30 - Breakfast - usually some kind of fruit (baby food)
10 or 10:30 - offered a bottle (usually will only take 2oz)
10:30 - 12:30 - sleep
12:30 - Lunch (just started a lunch at daycare) today it was turkey noodle cassarole and green beans
2:30 - offered a bottle (usually will only take 2 oz)
2-4pm - sleep
5-5:30- usually offered a bottle and if won't take then offered dinner with us (some kind of baby food dinner , (ex: turkey and rice) and veggie.
7:00-7:30pm - offered last bottle before bed time - Usually drinks 4-6oz at this feeding.
My concern is even before she was eating a solid food lunch she would only take about 4-6oz of formula at daycare during the day.
Please - any help would greatly be appreciated!
Thanks Lisa
