fitting in swimming around EASY
« on: August 02, 2006, 03:21:08 am »
Hope posting in here is ok, I just skimmed through about 10 pages of routines but I'm still not sure on this...  My lo is almost 7 months.  I am trying to decide on the best time of day to sign him up for his swimming lessons starting in October.  He will be 9 months then.  I don't know whether I should do 11am or 1:30pm.  I'm not sure because it's hard to judge where his EASY will be at by then.  Right now he can't make it much more than 2 hours before his AM nap and is now is between 2.5-3 hours before his PM nap depending on the day.  Catnap is off again on again.  I am thinking 11am is better since it is once a week and it would be better to have to wake him early from the morning nap then get him overtired before the afternoon one.  So hard to know when you have to book these things so far in advance.  Any thoughts?

Hi there when DS was 9month (and even now) I tend to give him a shorter AM nap of 30mins, so his nap is 1030 -1100.

If I am going out I either, let him have his first nap in the car/buggy (dependant on distance) or I leave when he wakes at 11am and give lunch when we are out.

I would go for the 11am session, you could always wake him earlier in that day to fit this in.
