how to wake-to-sleep for a 10 mo old?
« on: August 03, 2006, 13:17:37 pm »
My Dd is 10.5 mos. old.  I'm wondering the best way to do wake-to-sleep for her 3 am wakings.  I was weaning her off her df before vacation.  During vacation, she woke up every night to eat, since I couldn't do pu/pd in a hotel room.  We got back, and I weaned the df again.  In the meantime, I began pumping twice a day to build a supply for going to Grandma's.  She began sleeping 7:30-6:30 w/out eating!  For 4 nights.
3 nights ago, she awoke at 3, out of the blue, to eat.  I waited to see if she did it again, and of course she did.  So the 3rd night, I roused her a little at 2:20, twice, but she didn't wake fully.  She awoke at 3:20 to eat.  I'm doing the thing where you feed them a minute less (bf) each night, along w/ wake-to-sleep, but I want to wake her in the most effective way, b/c it didn't work last night.  thanks!
