how freq should we b getting up?

I wanted to know when i should expect a decrease in our night wakings? And what is normal?
How old is your child? 4 months in 3 days
What’s his/her daily routine? here's yesterday's schedule:
wake 7
nap 9:20
wake 10:15
nap 12
wake 2 (extended @12:48)
nap 4
wake 5
bath 6:00
bed 8:50 (began screaming at 6:50)

today:
wake 6:30
nap 8:05
wake 8:25
nap 10:10
wake 11:00
nap 1:05
wake 1:33
nap 4:30
BATH 6:30
BED 7:10



ALWAYS WAKES 1:30, DF @ 11:00, WAKES 3:30 BF, WAKES 4:10, VERY FUSSY @5:10 AND STRUGGLE TO GET PACH 2 SLEEP UNTIL 7 WHEN ITS TIME TO GET UP


What’s nap routine? book, lullaby, rocking in chair, good night to the sun

How long are naps? 45 m

What's bedtime routine? bath, book, boob, bed   Time? 7:00/7:30

Do you bottle or breastfed?? bf

How much? or how long? not certain the amount about 15-20 min

If breastfed.. one side or both?? (at each feed)depends on his hunger

How many wakes per night?5-6

What’s your LO like when waking at night? How long is he/she up? crying depends on how long it takes to get him back 2 sleep avg 30 min

When you go to him/her is she fussing or crying? Or is it a mantra cry? mantra cry

What have you tried to settle?? pat sh pu/pd

What do you do for A time and how long is it? floor play, songs, books, swing, 1h 45m

Are there developmental issues such as teething or milestones? don't think he's teething, not too certain

Have you introduced cereal? Why, how much, and how many times a day? (for LO’s under 6 months) no food

Do they have a prop? If so what is it?

Do they have a lovie? yes

hi,

i think right now.... you have been through a lot!  what i would focus on now is getting those naps extended.  do your best at night.... he may need one more feed at night still (cause of the reflux), but other than that, i would pat/shh (or pu/pd... whatever) him back to sleep. 

i'm not so sure you have enough A time before his first nap... anywhere between 1.5-2hrs is normal.  if you can't get a good nap out of him, you need to put him down for his next nap sooner - to try & head off overtiredness.  this is the age range when they work on organizing day sleep.  i bet once you can get a better handle on that, the night sleep will start to improve.

must run now... have company coming, but this will do to start.   :)
