Thanks for your help...I fixed my pic by reading all these posts....just an added note to people trying to do this....

Your computer might not be able to save it at exactly 165x120....Example....I tried to save my pic at 165x120 and when I typed in the 165 height, the width automatically went to over 120(which at first,I didnt realize it was doing), so I manually had to type in different numbers to get BOTH  the height AND width to below the required 165x120.....so in my case I had to resize to 125h  x 120w....does this make sense?? Dont mean to confuse anyone...I am just sooo happy it finally worked after sooo m any tries!!! yay   ;D

I am soo dumb, I don't even know how to resize....can anyone help me?  Is it hard to do a little slide show?  Some people have this, and I think it is wonderful....

I resized my photo to 165 x 110 and it still would not upload.   ??? ??? ???

For the previous poster, I downloaded a picture resizer from the web.  It is called pixresizer I believe.  I just did a google search and found it.  It is easy to use and it has worked in the past to resize photos for avatars and just for posting in the photo gallery.  Good luck!

If you can attach the photo to your post by using the ADDITIONAL OPTIONS at the bottom of the screen, I can try and resize it for you  ;D

i see others are having the same probs as me, i also used to have an avatar and then one day i didnt!! helen resized my avatar so i know thats not the prob, i deleted temp files too and that didnt work????

I am also having problems changing my picture. I did resize, making sure it was no bigger than 120 pixels in either direction and it still won't upload. Help!

Unfortunately your pic was still too big xxx It needs to be no more than 120 pixels wide and 160 high.. yours was a bit too wide xxx
