Hi

I don't have a whole lot to add but my LO did the same thing around the same age and I think it was a combination of growth spurt (over 1lbs in weight gain in less than a week) and that her teeth were starting to bug her - bottom two appeared about 3 weeks later.  Even though they may not come in for a bit they do start to move which can have an effect.  It lasted about a week and a half to two weeks.  I ended up feeding her just about everytime she fussed and it did look more like EAEASY for a while but it sorted itself out and she's been on 4hour EASY and hasn't looked back.  We now have 6 month spurt looming and I hear it's a big one :o

Your doing great - keep going, it's so worth it for you and for them ;D

I just wanted to add, both my boys had big ones at 4mo (ds#2 lasting nearly 3 weeks... but he was quite ill just before too/ ds#1 was at least 10 days) But to the best of my knowledge neither had one at 6mo... I think the thing to remember is that our babies don't read the books & also that to have an "average" there has to be a 'range' that is normal.

Can I just add in here what a help this posting was to me?
I have been going through almost 3 weeks of the same thing, but with massive crying sprees at nighttime. We figured teething and then maybe growth spurt (but we figured they should only last 2 days). I then concluded between yesterday and today that I may be drying up. Now that I have read this and did extreme cluster feeding last night with positive results, I feel relieved.
Thank you! ;D
