Not getting all notifications
« on: August 05, 2006, 03:11:14 am »
I don't seem to be getting notifications for every new post in the specific forums I'm watching. Any ideas why that would be?

Try clearing your internet browsers cache/temp internet files...then check any spam/junk email folders you may have with your email client to see if it has been filtered.

Hmm... a possibility. My dh was playing around with the firewall and "broke" it. I think I'll change my e-mail address so that notifications go to my Yahoo! account (that way, if our server goes down, I'm still getting e-mail  ::)).  That's possible to do, right?  :P

Yes it is possible, but you will require an admin to reactivate your account once you've made the change, so give a little advance notice and we can look out for it.  If you pm Laura and I just before you do it, that way you should have minimum downtime from the site :) :)
