ok, my son does not let us know when he is awake. I have a video monitor & during the day,I hear him stirring in themonitor & see he is awake -45 min naps:( (he is just turnign 6 months)
I will post his routine below but here is my problem...
the past few weeks it's getting worse & worse. during the night I cannot hear him waking (he doesn't cry or even coo) I have been catching him at around 3-ish 4-ish then 5-something..i think he is waking sometime after midnight & then doing the 45 min nonsense he does during the day. When i observed him this morning I saw him up (I just happened to roll over & open my eyes to look at the monitor) he was up at 5:15..took him 15 min & was back to sleep at 5:30 slept until 6:15 then awake 15 min & asleep until 7:15 (I didn't wake him to feed at 7 because I felt he needed the extra 15 min.
I dint know how long this has been going on.
My poor baby has been so cranky/overtired lately I am guessing this has been the culprit.
He also does not feed well when he is like this. He will fight feeding & only want 1/2 his bottle. When he is like this I am so confused as when to feed him or put him down for sleep.
we always fought to be on easy since 4 months old.....it seemed to be finally coming together & then this! (well we always had 45 min naps though!)
here WAS his routine
7-wake 8 oz
845 nap 45 min (sometimes if lefthim alone he would re-settle himself in 15 min & sleep another hour!)
9:30 or 10:30 wake & cereal
11:00 8 oz
12:45 nap 45 min (sometimes if lefthim alone he would re-settle himself in 15 min & sleep another hour!)
3 8 oz
4-5:00 30 min nap
6- veggies & fruit
6:30 bath & wind-down (bath excites him)
7pm bottle & asleep by 7:30 (I feed him after his bath because it calms him down to relax for sleep)
this morning he was EXHAUSTED when he woke. i tried to feed him quietly in his room & put him right down but he wasn't having it. Also whenever I tried to feed him when he woke in the night he would not settle down to sleep.
I am desperate here
please help!!!
