Just a follow up on my LO not drinking.

My fussy little girl  ::) seems to not like her bottles heated in the microwave (which I know you are not supposed to use but when she's screaming and wanting her bottle now, it's quicker then using the bottle warmer).  I put 2 and 2 together when my mother in law came to look after my LO overnight and her drinking was normal.
So, since I went back to heating in the bottle warmer, she's back up to drinking 5.5-7oz per feed.  Her intake is back up to approx. 28-32oz per day.

She got the fussy gene from my husband, not me  ;D

I would only suggest using a micro EVER to to heat the water (not with teat attached), THEN add formula, as Stacy says it chnages the formula content after its been cooked in the micro.... along with the issue of scalding where heat spots can occur.

I didn't realize that it would change the flavour of the formula.
Also, I always removed the nipple before putting in the micro and I never put it in longer then 20 seconds, so it only took the chill off I guess.  Not warm throughout like the bottle warmer would make it.
