Bike Trailer -
« on: August 11, 2006, 00:06:58 am »
I am trying to find new activities for me and my LO.
Does anyone know at what age they can go in a bike trailer?

Our DD started about 2 weeks ago (she's 9mo now).  It's too big for just her, even with the straps.  So we have her big stuffed Pooh and E-or get in w/her.  Secures the seating a bit more and is great cushioning. :)  She loves going for rides w/her "friends"  ;D

we have the chariot brand trailer that has an infant sling for babies as young as 1 mo old!  if you buy that one i can sell you the infant sling and toddler head support for half price of the new one!(i think we used both only a handful of times)!!!

so yes, young babies can get out there!

Even though our ds is almost 8 months old, he is still a bit of a peanut, so we just strap his infant car seat into our trailer with bungee cords. We've been out with him like this since he was 3 months old and he loves it! We have the tag along bikes for our older kids, so our dd is behind my bike; our older ds is behind his Dad and our baby ds is in the trailer behind his brother. We make quite the train when we go for a ride!  ;D
