This is the one thing I will take FULL credit for! hahahahaha  ;D   ;D

Being a first time mama, I didn't (and still don't) know much or what to expect... but Shh/Pat and PU/PD are true miracles. After just 2 days of shh/pat combined with PU/PD when Mateo was about 4 months....and the 45-min naps were a thing of the past.
Now, that's not say that they haven't tried to make a comeback... but thanks to what he learned in the past, we have the 45-minute nap monster up against the ropes... and he's NOT coming back!

I appreciate all the votes - keep 'em coming!  I'm learning those of you that say "both" are probably right - I can manage to get her back down now most days, but she still wakes up after 45mins no matter what.  It helps to know there are lots more of you out there that are past this stage!  :)

DD outgrew it by the time she was 6-7 months. THANK GOD. i let her do it naturally as every time i intervened it really affected her night sleep (which was about 11-12 hours).

mind you different story about the early morning wakings ::) ::)

I think he outgrew it AND the interventions worked... He wouldn't have outgrown it without the intervention. Thank God it is over. Try to relax, eat, shower and prepare the next Activity time in 23 minutes nap time! Doesn't work.
