Fantastic Book for Activity Time for 1st Year
« on: August 18, 2006, 09:56:04 am »
Hi
Just wanted to share with everyone a book which I found on one of the other threads.
If like me you are getting stumped by what to do what you should or shouldn't be doing and at what stage in development for Activity time.  Then I would strongly recommend this book by Dr Miriam Stoppard, its called Baby's First Skills.  I found my copy through Amazon and paid just £3.60+p+p.
It's a fantastic book giving month by month breakdown of what activities you should do to fully help baby achieve all her important milestones of development at the right stage, and in the right order, which is essential.  With a simple 'golden hour' of play detailing how long you should spend on talking, friendliness, movement, mind etc and has 48 different activities from which you can choose to use.
