This subject line sounds like it caem from me...perhaps you could help me too, please?
My pediatrician said to try baby on solids at 4 months. At that point he was sleeping 7hours through the night from 7pm with a DF at 11pm until about 5am. But all of a sudden at 4 months he started waking many times in the night. I tried solids but he hated the cereal so I stopped for a while. Not sure whether it was too soon.
But "Solids or not" has become a side issue which I hardly care about after reading some other posts, and The BIG issues I have, as you can see are:
1. not sleeping through the night
2. naptimes only 45 minutes.
As for the routine lately I have became a bit unconscious (
of whether it was a 3 or 4 hour routine as I was just trying to get him to finish his bottle, so its a bitmessed up, but this is my schedule or something like it right now:
6.15 am Breast feed until we fall off to sleep on the breast in my bed till about 7.45am
7.45 A
9.45 - 10.30 nap
10.30am Formula 4.5 or 5 oz max
11 A
1pm - 1.45 nap
A
3pm Formula 4 oz
A
3.45pm -4.30pm nap
6.pm Formula 4 oz
A
6.30pm bath ritual with massage
7.15pm Formula 3.5 oz
7.30 pm bed
10 pm Formula 2 oz
1am Formula 2.5 oz
3.45 breast fed 10 minutes
and then last night for e.g. woke up screaming at 3am; ;4am; 5am as he had rolled onto his tummy and could not turn over.
