I tried W2S today with my 18 week old that takes 5-6 30 minute naps per day. I had tried the option of going in a 5 minutes or so before she woke up and stroking her check, but she still woke up, so I tried a bit earlier, same thing. So I did the putting pressure on her chest and legs before she jolted (about 25 minutes into the nap), and I woke her up when I put my hands on her. Is there a reason for that? Did I do it too early or too late? Also even if she still only takes a 30 minute nap should I still make her A time 2 hours so I can ensure that she is tired enough to sleep longer?
