Short A Time
« on: September 07, 2006, 12:40:28 pm »
Recently we've been having a little problem with our EASY routine. My lo was on a 3 hour EASY. However around 8 weeks to now (10 weeks old) she's been getting really sleepy right after her feedings and does not want to have more than 15-30 minutes of A time. Then goes down for an hour nap, then is up again. This means that she's on a 2 hour EASY. This has happened before during a growth spurt, but she returned to the 3 EASY after 2/3 days. Are we regressing? I'm worried that I may be creating a snacker...

Hi there,

I would try to make the feedings a bit more upbeat but not overstimulating. Maybe with more light and with you telling her an upbeat story.  Also try to extend her A time little by little, 5 mins for a couple of days then 10, then 15 until you can get her back on track  ;)
