For things like peaches, plums etc...what is the best/easiest way to get the skins off.

I know some of you must have some great ideas! :D

Make little crosses in the skin and then pour boiling water over them and leave them in the water for 30 sec/ 1min. The skins will come right off.

I don't think there is a best or easiest way to peel it depends what you like to do best or what works for you.  I use a peeler.  Might get messy but it works for me.

So, I tried the boiling method for getting the skins off of plums.  Hmm, pretty messy.  I found that the skins were hardest to get off, if the plum was not perfectly mushy/ripe!  But I was successful, and it is tasty!

I'll try it again and use the peeling method....to compare! ;)
