Day 5 on EASY... Travelling on day 7... Advice plz
« on: September 11, 2006, 19:11:39 pm »
I started my DS on EASY (we're on day 5 today). Anyway, we are going to the city on Thursday which is a 2 hr drive and I want to keep his schedule the same but he tends to sleep in the car  :-\. His current schedule is...

7am wake & nurse
8am breakfast
9:30am nap (til 10:45/11)
11am nurse
12pm lunch
1:45pm nap (til 3:15)
3:15pm Bottle
4:30 Dinner
6pm Bottle
6:30pm Bath
7 pm Bed

We dont NEED to be there super early.. so we COULD leave around 9 but it would be way better if we did leave to be there for around 9 which would mess up his naps because he will most likely sleep for the 2 hrs in the car. How do you deal with EASY when you have stuff like this? We will be running around in the city for most of the day so I know things won't be quite as set as normal (which is fine for me, I just dont want him to get all messed up)

Also, we are going out for dinner around 5-5:30 and the hoping to leave by 7 so he will be asleep in the car at bedtime and then just put him to bed in his crib when we get home around 9, does that sound like a good plan?  ???

Any imput would be awesome  ;D

CameronsMom,

Because you have only been on EASY for 5 days, I would suggest you have a look at this link.

You may find that if your DS takes a longer nap in the morning, he may shorten his afternoon nap - KWIM?

Leaving at 7 so he will fall asleep at bedtime in the car sounds like a good idea.

Good luck - have fun on your day out and let us know how you get on.
