Dinner Time with the family
« on: September 11, 2006, 23:22:00 pm »
Ok my DD is on 1 nap at 12pm so lunch is at 11.30am and a snack upon waking from nap around 3pm however she is hungry by 4.30/5pm for her dinner. Now day light saving is coming so we plan on taking advantage of the time change so DD goes 7.30-7.30(currently 7-7) and 12.30pm nap so dinner at 5.30pm but i would like her to eat with us when DH gets home at 6pm. Any suggesting how i can get her to hold out until then? Would giving a bigger snack in the afternoon help?

I definitely think a bigger snack would help, or 2 smaller snacks.  I can always change dd's dinner eating by limiting her afternoon snack  ;).

Depending on how much dd eats for brekkie, we'll somtimes just have a snack and milk before nap time and then a more "proper" lunch after nap.
