Can a post just dissapear?

Sunday night (Sept.10) I responded to a post (and I'll be damned if I can remember who started it ::)) about all the new BW "stuff" and I went back today to see if anyone else had anything to say and I can not find it anywhere!  I must have gone back 3 or 4 pages!  Can a post just dissapear, or is there some way I can read all the responses I've made to try and find it?

try going to your past posts. Click on your name, hit last post and scrool down untill you find the post you are looking for. Thats what I do when I can't find a post.
