how to begin solids at 4months? schedule?

HI
my dd will b 4mths next week, and i would like to start her on solids - rice cereal to begin with- but when should i give her this? before or after a feed? how much?
has anyone else started solids at 4mths?

Can i ask your reason for starting solids at 4months? Is your DD bottle/breastfeed? Is she on 4hr EASY? Have you read the FAQS section first in regards to starting solids?
