I can't pm
« on: September 27, 2006, 22:26:57 pm »
I have tried sending a pm to someone and it won't let me. I have sent others which have gone fine. It just keeps telling me that this person cannot be found. I am clicking on the little blue pm tab under their name too. What am I doing wrong?

I had this problem too earlier. If we are PM-ing someone with an apostrophe (SP!!???) in their name, do we need to take this out??

That's what I did, and it worked

At the present time this appears to be the workaround for this.  The system is attempting to send pm's via display names, not actual usernames on some accounts, so taking out the apostrophe may work :)
