11.5mo decides to co-sleep
« on: September 27, 2006, 23:14:47 pm »
well Lara has rarely co-slept with us...she only occasionally does so with my mother...now she wakes up each night screaming and will not go back to bed unless i put her in beside me...then she'll sleep and i can transfer her to her own cot...she also sleeps all byherself if in a big bed, but in her own cot i have to pat her to sleep...what's going on?

I think she's starting to use you as a bit of a prop. The choice is now for you. Do you want to co-sleep, or stop it.
If you want to stop it then persist with pat/shh or PU/PD to settle her in her own bed.
The more you move her to your bed the harder it will be to get her to sleep in the crib.
