OK, quick what do I do?
« on: October 05, 2006, 11:06:19 am »
We are working on extending naps. My LO woke while I was doing W2S. He was still tired so I re-did our win down routine and pt/sh him for about an hour. Now he is sleeping, but he is going to go over his feeding time probably by a half hour to an hour. Do I wake him to eat or let him sleep?

Eeek.  I think Tracy would say wake him.  I hate waking my baby!  :)

Sorry, I'm probably too late, but you are best off waking him. 10 mins or so over feed time is OK, but any more starts to affect his routine, and you get knock-on effects for the rest of the day.

HTH :)

Anna,

as I remember Tracy was suggesting waking a baby to feed if it's feeding time, regardless how long he's been sleeping after resettling.
but I would leave him be... that's what I was always doing with my dd as she would cry so much is woken from a nap.

so it's up to you really, sorry I can't help you  :-*
