Hi,

Welcome to the boards  ;D

We found that if we stroked our DS's face and talked to him softly he would wake up.

If you are cluster feeding I would offer more of a feed after the cat nap - this helps your lo to tank up.

If you find it easier to do Bath, Bottle then Bed, then stick to it.  You can use your bath time as your A time.

Have a look at this link - this may help you to get started:-

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

I had the same problem.  We starting giving him a small feed before the bath so he would stay happy in the tub :)  then after he is out and changed we give him the rest of his bottle.  It works out great and helps him to relax again after getting hyped up when taken out of the bath and changed..  Plus even if the bath is relaxing it is play time for him and he loves it so I like to relax him after.  If you want to still keep the bottle before bath time you could try rolling your thumb lightly in his palm and slightly shifting positions or stroking his face gentley..Christina
