Not sure where to post this!

Kai (17 months) fell and bit inside his lip which needed 2 stitches. The stitches came out the next day!! We are worried and not sure how to help it heal, how long it may take and what to look for if it starts to get infected??? I know i should have asked these to the doc but I am 7 months preg. and passed out in the A and E !!

If anyone can help that would be great

My mum  (my favourite doctor) told me that a cut in the mouth heals faster than any other cut on your body due to our own antiseptic that is produced in the mouth, don't know if it's true, but it does seem to heal faster.
