Yes, if you could let me know, that'd be great! I'm thinking we could try to start to reduce the bottle amount at 1100am, but I don't think going cold-turkey dropping that bottle would be wise, right?? Would I increase his solids at lunchtime then?
LO is on goats milk b/c of milk & soy intolerance. I didn't have enough breast milk and his pallet wasn't developed, so I stopped. He kept throwing up on Alimentium and Nutramigen and finally after the Dr's. told us that we'd just have to let him "grow out of this all", I decided to try goats milk at 5 months b/c that's what worked for me 30 years ago. The VERY FIRST bottle of goats milk we noticed a difference! No more throwing up, no more crying, no more green stool, etc... The Dr. was so un-impressed that I did this, but I could really care less what she thinks, as we had 5 months of non-stop crying and sleep of no more than 2 hours a time at night. We went to a Naturapathic Dr. to get all the right vitamins to add to the goats milk and then to the dietian at the hospital to make sure the vitamins she gave was right. He is thriving and is one happy baby. I should've listened to my "mothers intution" when he was 3 months old and I thought we should put him on goats milk. 30 years ago my Mum put me on un-pasturized goats milk with no vitamins added out of desperation and to this day I don't have one allergy to my name and no side effects from it. Whew .. that was a long schpiel!
Thanks! Allison =)
