Indoor activities?
« on: November 11, 2006, 16:51:38 pm »
Hi everyone,
Just wondering what you folks do with your lo's when it is a rainy or cold day outside?  I live in the Northeast, US and we are in store for a cold winter--therefore no playground!  Is there anything you do with your lo's indoors that can burn some energy so that they get some exercise?

Thanks!

Hi there--
Depending on the age of your LO, you can do all sorts of arts and crafts things - Play-doh, finger paint, coloring, etc.  Also, if you check out the "Toddler Activity" sticky at the top of this forum, one member had a great description of different "stations" that she did for her toddler that would definitely burn some energy.  How about dancing around to music?  We're got a bunch of CDs here that are guaranteed to get DD1 moving around.
