Is the 9pm feed a DF?

Hi,

I don't understand how you give a cluster feed at 9pm. Is it like a DF? Do you DF again at 11?

In summary yes.  The cluster feed is to really tank them up when for example they're going through a growth spurt.  So you would treat it exactly like a DF and then DF again at 11.

Hi Dani,

Are you doing a clusterfeed at 7 and 9?  If so you could do a dreamfeed at 11.

Or you could do a clusterfeed at around 5 and then 7 and then do the dreamfeed at 10.

Well, I have been doing a DF at around 10:30 and my ds, 4,5 months, is still waking for feeds (he had managed to sleep all night a few weeks ago but that stopped...)

Tonight I put him in bed at 6:50 because he missed his catnap and had only 4oz so I thought I could cluster feed at 9 then DF at 11. But I'm not sure I'll do something wrong. Should I do a cluster feed tonight and go back to cluster feed at 5, then 7 tomorrow + DF? Or should I just stick with the DF?

Dani,

It is what ever works best for you.

You may find it easier to do a clusterfeed at 5 and 7 and then a dreamfeed at 10 - It also means you get to go to bed a little earlier.

Night wakings could aslo be down to a growth spurt - also is is still quite normal to have a night waking at this age.
