We didn't drop the dreamfeed until 6/7 months.

Proud to have breastfed for a combined total of 35 months

I was asking myself this wuestion too, Bradley was having  df from 6 weeks and he slept through the night, I didnt want to the night wakings! I got used to sleep! We actually moved house across the world when ds was 12 weeks, we continued the df, as he got older he wouldnt be asleep while feeding, but we kept the room dark and quiet and he always went straight back to sleep. By 5 months we were thinking of stopping it, but then all of a sudden he refused it! He was not interessted so we left him to sleep and he slept through! That was it, he decided on his own!

Sometimes they drop it on their own, but for the most part the DF gets dropped at 7 months  ;)
