Help needed please

Hi ladies,

I haven't posted here for quite some time and now I would love some advice.

I have a 6 month old DS who pretty much goes to sleep for his naps and at night time on his own. We have established a 3 1/2 - 4 hour easy with pretty good success. My question and problem is - How do I get him to sleep through the night. Our routine is always the same for bedtime. Bath, jammies, cereal, bottle and the bedtime. I know the EASY is kind of backwards for night time. He usually wakes between 1-2 and has about 5 oz of formula and then seems to wake 4:30-5 and we try to let him fall back to sleep himself - which he usually does. then he wakes around 6 and is up for the day.

He is napping OK through the day with about a total of 3 hours. His bedtime is b/w 6:30-7:00 each night. I am just wondering what I can do so he sleeps trough the night. Some nights are better than others.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Julie

I am assuming you dont do a dream feed.  If that is the case then you can start to cut out your 1am feed like you would a DF.

Right now he is having 5oz so I would so I would do
4oz for 5 days
3oz for 5 days
2oz for 3 days
1oz for 3 days

Be sure to add those calories during the day over the course of that time.

Keep us posted
