What is Showing Appreciation thingie in my profile? How do I send appreciaiton to somebody?

Second, how do I make location appear on my summary that you see on the left of my posts?

Showing Appreciation is a way we can all thank each other for our kindness or advice and support.. or whatever we want to thank each other for... all you do is click the "Thank You!" that you see under peoples names and their showing appreciation score will go up.

Of course you cant see your thank you as you cant thank yourself.. just everyone else..
