another wake to sleep question
« on: December 06, 2006, 14:13:44 pm »
hi
i've managed to do wake to sleep for 2 nights in a row and she hasn't woken at the usual time but has woken an hour later. i'm going to do it for another night and then if she's still waking should i do wake to sleep an hour later, following her pattern?
thanks

OK when you do it, is it an hour before she would usually wake? I may have misunderstood but it sounded like you said you did it when she would usually wake?

she's nearly 16 weeks. i go into her room and rub her tummy and face until she stirs and then leave the room. she then wakes up about an hour later and continues to do so until it's time to get up (so about 2 hours)
thanks

Have you tried feeding? at 16 weeks its not uncommon for LO's to still need a feed. That she continues to wake leads me to think hunger may be an issue.

no i just dropped the feed as she was only having about 60mls  so definitely not hunger.
