Hi there-Did I read somewhere that the body will crave bad foods because the bad bacteria wants to feed off it? (or something like that?)
The reason I ask is that I know a mom whose daughter is on her 6th ear infection in 20 months. She will only eat dairy, and bit of fruit. Very fussy eater. I was discussing my elimination diet with her yesterday and she said there is NO WAY she could try that with her DD because that's all she eats. Is it possible her body is craving dairy because the bacteria or whatnot is feeding off it? Just curious. I don't want to push my friend to try it, but would like her to explore all options. She goes to an ENT this month. You have to have 10 ear infections in Canada (or thereabouts) before they'll do tubes.
Coincidentally, Cole rarely, if ever asks for milk and he asked for it 3 times yesterday, day one of our elimination diet. not sure if it's just a weird coincidence.
k, that's all. do you think my theory has some merit?
