reflux in bfed baby
« on: December 11, 2006, 05:44:55 am »
Okay so I just got the confirmation of reflux in my 8 week old.  The Dr suggested Axid for her pain.  has anyone else used this and did you get good results?  Are there any other suggestions for what I can to do help her out?  Has anyone found that their food intake affects baby pain? DD is exclusively breastfed.
I just hate seeing her in so much pain every night.  It breaks my  heart.   :'(
any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

All I can tell you is to cut everything out that would irritate your stumica as it'll do the same for your LO.

Here's a list I was given.
No onions, garlic, a lot of dairy cut out, no spicy food, no broccoli, cabage, beans, caffine, aspertaine, peanut butter, and sea foods. Anything else you know your sensative to. I'm sure others will have more advice for you :)
