Mantra crying: is she resting anyway?
« on: December 16, 2006, 18:55:55 pm »
Okay I think I finally can tell real crying from mantra crying...  During her second sleep cycle, my LO will often cry a little and then stop on her own, so  I don't want to  go in every time.  But I wonder: is she really having a good rest when she does this?  I find her A time really short (like  an hour or so at 2.5 months), could it be because she's not really napping when I think she is?

This is because the second half of their is sleep is a lighter sleep than the first half. I find that the first hour of my DD nap i can do anything around the house and she doesn't wake up. However i have to be quieter during the 2nd half of her nap. I wouldn't worry as long as she isn't waking up then she is still sleeping and getting rest.
