Big girl bed!!! Bad idea or good idea?

i'm not sure if it is a good idea to transition Sasha to a "big girl bed"!!!!
at the moment shes making no attempt to climb out of her cot-which amazes me as she climbs up and down evrything else.
but shes always climbs into the double bed in her room,pulls the duvet onto her self and lies down in the bed!!!so i go night night and she waves bye bye to me!!
i'm not really fussed with her staying in the cot or the "big bed" so i'm just wondering if i should just keep her in the cot for now???

If she still sleeps well in her cot and doesn't try to get out, I'd ride it for as long as possible!

I'd definitely keep her in the crib for as long as possible. Acting like she's going night-night in a real bed and actually DOING it are two different things. You can try it for a night or 2 and see what happens!

Agree with the other two posts.  Keep Sasha in the crib as long as possible.

As you might remember, we recently transitioned Tyler to a big boy bed and he is doing great sleeping.  However, tends to get into trouble when he wakes up and wants to play.  We have pretty much "toddler" proofed the entire rooms.  However, last night he opened up his closet door, shut it and could not get out.  Screamed hysterically at 10PM.  This would not have happened if he was still in his crib.  Well in his case, it probably would because he was climbing out of his crib.

My advice, keep her in the crib!!!  (Very cute what she is doing though... )

Or you could try a nap in the double bed....
