How Long do Growth Spurts last?
« on: December 28, 2006, 19:52:16 pm »
I'm pretty sure my son is hitting the 9 month growth spurt, his night feeds are erratic & taking full feeds when he does wake & eating a ton of solids during the day.  Anyone know how long growth spurts last?  I've read 2-3 days, a week, depends on the kid, etc.

Also is this the last growth spurt or is there another one around 12 months?

In my experience two or three days for a growth spurt.  I dont remember there being one at one year but there very well could be.

I was pretty sure it was 2-3 days.  Today he's not eating as much & refusing the bottle so we'll see how it goes tonight.  Why are these kids so hard to figure out??  ;)

it can last anywhere from 2 days to a week or more depending on the kid.

Liv had one every 3 months including 12 mo, 15mo and 18 mo  :o  Alex stopped with the 12 mo GS. so again, every kid is different just to keep us on our toes!
