Cluster feeding and dream feed

I'm a little confused about the clusterfeeding and the dream feed.  It says to feed at 6pm 8pm and 10:30 pm.  Is 6 a normal feed time or do I just feed him then even if it is a little early?  Does DS take a nap between 6 and 8? After the 8pm feed do I put him right down to sleep or do I do an activity then put him down?  I tried the dream feed for the first time last night.  At first Carter wouldn't open his mouth when he did he wouldn't suck, my breast just sat in his mouth.  I finally just put him back down and he didn't get the dream feed.  I'm going to try the dream feed again tonight...any advice??

I'm sorry, I'm a little confused with your post.  :-\   It's hard to answer any of your questions without any info like how old LO is, your routine, that sort of thing.
